What You Get

One workspace for the whole Signal picture.

Start with a name, a Service ID, or a group. Signal Users gives you the profile, the history, and the network around it — organized, sourced, and ready to export.

Fast Profile Search

Search 600K+ profiles by name, Service ID, or keyword, then filter by admin status, avatar, or group count. Results land in seconds.

Identity History

See how a profile changed over time — name, description, and avatar updates captured in timestamped snapshots, so you always know what was true and when.

Group Presence & Networks

Map which groups a profile belongs to, spot admin and moderator roles, and see the cross-group connections that reveal how communities overlap.

Avatar Library

Every profile's avatar is preserved for review. Where an avatar shows a person, it can be run through your own facial-recognition tools for verification.

Technical Identifiers

Service IDs on every tracked profile plug straight into Signal CLI workflows. Phone numbers are surfaced where available (roughly 0.5% of profiles).

Export & Report

Take a clean copy with you — export profiles, group memberships, and history to PDF, JSON, or CSV for your case file or downstream tools.

Identity Over Time

Watch an identity evolve — snapshot by snapshot.

Usernames change, descriptions get rewritten, avatars swap out. Signal Users keeps every version on a single timeline, so a profile's past is never lost to an edit.

  • Timestamped snapshots for consistent, reliable tracking
  • Name, description, and avatar changes surfaced side by side
  • Group joins and departures flagged as they happen
  • Fresh data every 48 hours, going back across the record

How It Works

From a single lead to a full profile.

Four steps, no data wrangling. Everything you surface carries the snapshot and timestamp it came from.

Search

Enter a name, Service ID, keyword, or group. Filter the results down to exactly what matters.

Explore

Open a profile to see its details, avatar, group memberships, and technical identifiers in one view.

Trace

Step back through the history timeline to see how the identity and its group presence changed.

Export

Save a sourced, timestamped copy to PDF, JSON, or CSV for your case file or reporting.

FAQ

Questions teams ask first.

How do I find someone on Signal Messenger?
Signal Users lets you search more than 600,000 public Signal profiles by display name, username, Service ID, or keyword. Each result links to the person's group memberships, avatar, and timestamped identity history. It only covers publicly observable profiles — it is not a way to unmask private or hidden accounts.
Can I look up a Signal user by username or Service ID?
Yes. Search by display name, username, or Service ID (ACI) and filter by admin status, avatar, or group count. Every tracked profile carries a persistent Service ID that also works with Signal CLI tools.
How do I see which Signal groups someone belongs to?
Open any profile to see its full group membership across 7,000+ monitored groups, including admin and moderator roles and the cross-group connections that show how communities overlap.
What is a Signal Service ID (ACI)?
The Service ID, also called the ACI, is Signal's persistent per-account identifier. It stays the same even when someone changes their name or number, which makes it the most reliable way to track an identity over time. Every Signal Users profile includes one.
Can Signal Users find the phone number behind a Signal account?
Signal does not expose phone numbers publicly, so a number is available for only about 0.5% of profiles where it was publicly observable. Signal Users is an OSINT research tool, not a phone-lookup or deanonymization service.
Where does the Signal data come from?
Publicly observable, open-source information from the Signal ecosystem, collected on a scheduled cycle. Every record carries the snapshot and timestamp it was captured in.
How often is the data refreshed?
Snapshots refresh roughly every 48 hours, and history is preserved across refreshes so you can trace how a profile or group changed over time.
Who uses Signal Users?
Investigators and law-enforcement teams, journalists, corporate and risk analysts, and academic researchers who need structured, well-sourced context on public Signal activity.
